Guthrie Court is a small development in superbly maintained private grounds next to the world famous Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Resort, set in the stunning scenery of Perthshire. The views from the balcony are over the wooded grounds of the hotel and the British School of Falconry, the only school of Falconry in the world, where their magnificent birds of prey may be seen.

Directly across the street are the Gleneagles Equestrian Centre and Shooting and Fishing Schools. Just through the gate are the Hotel and restaurants, as well as the School of Falconry.

Gleneagles is home to some of the best golf courses in the world. Both the King's and Queen's courses were designed by James Braid and provide a challenge for the golfer set in some of the most stunning scenery in Scotland. The PGA Centenary course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is a modern classic which is the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup as well as the annual Johnny Walker Championship, part of the European Tour, (formerly known as the Diageo). The Golf Academy and practice ground are available for beginners or those who wish to improve their golf and there is also the Wee Course and the pitch and putt. Tee times are easy to arrange.

For those that like to fish, trout fishing is available on three inland lochs on the estate. Salmon fishing is also available on the River Tay.

The Spa by ESPA at Gleneagles has a wonderful selection of treatments for the most luxurious pampering experience. Full details can be found on the Gleneagles website.

There are four restaurants in the Gleneagles Hotel including Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles which has been awarded two Michelin stars and the Dormy Clubhouse.

All the above activities can be enjoyed by non residents on payment of the appropriate charges. However The Club ( gym, sauna, pool) is only available to members and hotel guests. Both Perth and Stirling have excellent swimming pools and are only 20 minutes away from the apartment.

A short walk away are all the facilities of the village of Auchterarder with its many small friendly family owned shops and eating establishments including Jon and Ferdinanda's restaurant, some of the best fish and chip shops in Central Scotland and an excellent bakery which makes prizewinning Scotch pies and mouthwatering cakes.

Accommodation and Facilities

The apartment has a large open plan hallway, a large living room with dining area and a fully fitted kitchen. The master bedoom has an en-suite shower room, the second, an en-suite WC. There is a third bedroom and a three piece bathroom with vanity and a Jacuzzi bath with shower over.

The living room is comfortably furnished with two large sofas and occasional tables and has a widescreen LCD TV, DVD, video and audio equipment in addition to a selection of games, dvds, videos and books for your enjoyment.

The dining area has a large table that comfortably seats 6 and has patio doors leading to a small balcony.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker and microwave in addition to fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.

The master bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes and a wall hung trouser press. There is also a luxurious en-suite shower room which is fully tiled in marble and provides a pedestal wash hand basin, WC with concealed cistern and large mirror over and a marble lined shower cubicle with power shower and smoked glass door.

The second bedroom is also a twin with fitted wardrobes, trouser press and en-suite WC.

The third bedroom is a generous single with room for an extra bed or cot (which is available if required), fitted wardrobes and a wall hung trouser press.

The luxurious bathroom is fully tiled with marble tiles and is fitted with a Jacuzzi bath with shower over complete with glass screen, a wash hand basin inset in a marble top and WC with concealed cistern.

The apartment is centrally heated which is included in the price.

All linen and towels are also provided.

There is ample storage in the apartment and also access to a single garage which is available and ideal for a vintage car or motorbike enthusiast.
